Payment Policy
Payment is due at the time services are rendered. We accept payment via:
- Cash
- Checks (made out to: Hestóvin Stables)
- Recurring Payments (email aubrey@hestovinstables.org to set up payments)
For your information, it costs about $150.00 per hour for one of our horses to partake in our equine riding program. It is our desire to make our services at Hestóvin Stables Therapeutic Riding Center available to all who desire to explore, learn, and interact with our Icelandic horses.
Returned Check
Pursuant to Michigan law, all checks returned for insufficient funds will be subject to a $25 processing fee.

Cancellation Policy
Fee Cancellations
(Less than 24-hour notice and failure to show up)
If you cancel a lesson with less than 24 hours’ notice or fail to show up, you will be charged for the lesson. You will be subject to a fee of $20.00.
No Fee Cancellations
(Family emergencies and medical concerns)
Call us at (616) 406-6580 as soon as possible to change or cancel your lesson in the case of any unforeseen medical and/or family emergencies. We will make every attempt to reschedule your lesson at a later time.
Weather Closures
Hestóvin Stables follows Forest Hills Public Schools weather closures and will be closed when they are. We will send a text reminder by 10am on the day of closure.
Lessons will not be made up for weather closures. In this instance, if you have paid ahead or have a card on file with us, you will not be charged for that day. Any money still credited to your account at the end of a session will roll over to the following session.
