Payment Policy
Payment is due at the time services are rendered. We accept payment via:
- Cash
- Checks (made out to: Hestóvin Stables)
- Venmo ID: @hestovinstables
- QuickBooks (email deanri@hestovinstables.org to set up payments)

For your information, it costs about $150.00 per hour for one of our horses to partake in our equine riding program. It is our desire to make our services at Hestóvin Stables Therapeutic Riding Center available to all who desire to explore, learn, and interact with our Icelandic horses.
Returned Check
Pursuant to Michigan law, all checks returned for insufficient funds will be subject to a $25 processing fee.

Cancellation Policies
Fee Cancelations
- Less than 24-hour notice and failure to show up
Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us, it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. If you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice or fail to show up, you will be charged for the appointment. You will be subject to a fee of $20.00.
No Fee Cancelations
- Family emergencies and medical concerns
Call our Equine Instructor as soon as possible to change or cancel your lesson in case of any unforeseen medical and/or family emergencies. We will make every attempt to reschedule your lesson at a later time.
