M
y journey with horses began at the age of eight, and I’ve been passionate about owning and showing Arabian horses ever since. While in college, I discovered equine-assisted therapy and knew I wanted to combine my love for horses with my passion for helping others.
I am currently pursuing both my bachelor’s and master’s degree in Recreational Therapy at Grand Valley State University and working toward becoming a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI) through PATH International.
My background includes experience as a Resident Aide in an adult foster care facility, Community Living Support Provider and an ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) therapist, where I developed strong skills in behavior management and individualized support. Combining my equine experience with my therapeutic training, I strive to create a positive, empowering environment for every student. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my horse, Coco, watching movies, going on walks, and spending time with my friends.
